Another classic example of ‘one rule for one’ as the controversial former First Minister uses car that isn’t road legal

Sturgeon arrives to Covid Inquiry in car without MOT

Nicola Sturgeon has had a pretty significant fall from grace after she hastily left her post as Scotland’s First Minister 11 months ago.

The news of her departure was of huge surprise at the time but, in the weeks that followed, her husband was arrested by police investigating a party-funding scandal.

Since then, she’s uttered the same nonsense at Scotland’s Covid Inquiry that Boris Johnson did in Westminster when asked why her WhatsApp messages had been deleted from her phone.

To make matters worse for Sturgeon, X (formerly Twitter) lit up at the back end of last week as it turned out the black Audi she arrived to the enquiry in didn’t have an MOT.

And we were able to confirm, using our MOT History Checker, that the car she arrived in hadn’t had a valid MOT since March 22, 2023 when it had almost 70,000 miles on the clock.

We’re sure the local police will be hot to act on this information…
