How Toyota servicing extends your car’s manufacturer warranty for up to 10 years, or 100,000 miles.

Toyota Relax: 10 year 100,000 mile warranty

Toyota Relax extends your car’s warranty for up to 10 years or 100,000 miles, whichever comes first. This minimises any cost and hassle if there is a fault. To qualify, simply have the vehicle serviced at your authorised dealer. The manufacturer then extends its warranty for one year. Every time your car is serviced its warranty is extended on this basis – until it is no longer eligible.

Toyota pay monthly service plan

A Toyota service plan is the cost effective way to pay for maintenance. It is also tailored to your specific car. This guarantees it gets the care required to be safe, reliable, and ready for anything. To buy a plan, visit the manufacturer’s website and enter your car’s registration. Next, confirm its mileage, how far you travel a year, and when the car was last serviced. The manufacturer then recommends a suitable service plan. For instance:

  • November 23rd 2022 – intermediate service (aged four years)
  • November 23rd 2023 – full service (aged five years)
  • November 23rd 2024 – intermediate service (aged six years).

The manufacturer also summarises what is included within each service. New engine oil and a filter, for example. The payment schedule provides further transparency. It confirms how much you pay a month, when you pay, and the total cost of your service plan.

Benefits of servicing

Whatever you pay, it is best to perceive it as an investment in your vehicle’s future rather than an expense. Consider the benefits. New, high quality engine oil minimises wear, for starters. It is better at lubricating, cleaning, and cooling the engine’s core internal components. In addition, new spark plugs help the engine fire properly and a new air filter helps it breathe. Such things matter and there are countless other examples.

For such reasons, a car with service history retains more value than an equivalent without. That is clearly a benefit when you trade-in. Drivers – and motor traders – pay a premium for a properly maintained vehicle. They know it is more likely to be reliable, good to drive, and immediately ready for work than a car that has been ignored. Such benefits are worth a financial premium.

Trust Toyota

Toyota offers far more than servicing. An MOT ensures your car meets the standards required by law. If not, it is fixed by technicians that have brand specific training. Toyota also sells accessories to personalise your car. It is then even better suited to your lifestyle. The manufacturer's website has more information.
