World's fastest G-class unveiled ahead of Abu Dhabi Grand Prix

HOF (formerly Hofele) has revealed the world’s fastest G-Class, the HOF Sir Class, on Yas Island ahead of the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix. This super-SUV is the first G-Class to exceed 300kph, powered by a 1,063 horsepower engine, comparable to that of a Mercedes-Benz Formula One car. With 1,300 Newton metres of torque, far surpassing the 300-600Nm range of a standard SUV, the HOF Sir Class is based on the Mercedes-AMG G 63. Only 11 units are available, priced at €650,000 or Dh2.5 million for UAE buyers.

The development of the Sir Class took two years, with significant modifications to the engine, suspension, and brakes. HOF owner Ferdinand Peter explained that the team had to push the limits to achieve a top speed of 300kph+. The vehicle's design also pays tribute to Mercedes-Benz’s Formula One legacy and Lewis Hamilton's career, incorporating carbon-fibre elements, ceramic-coated tailpipes, and F1-style paintwork with tiffany green accents.

The car will be on display at Yas Marina track during the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, offering a glimpse of this collector’s item, built to appreciate in value over time.

Are you interested in high-performance vehicles like this, or do you prefer something different when it comes to car design and technology?
