Volkswagen Group brands are offering a £1,500 ‘Grant Guarantee’ on selected electric models until 31 August, including the ID.3, ID.4, Skoda Elroq and Enyaq, and Cupra Born. The grant applies even if the Government’s EV grant isn’t awarded.

Volkswagen, Skoda and Cupra Launch £1,500 Grant on Select EVs

Volkswagen has launched a new £1,500 ‘Grant Guarantee’ on selected electric models. Eligible cars include the ID.3 in Pure, Pro, and Pro S trims, and the ID.4 in Pure and Pro – with the performance-focused GTX versions excluded. With the grant applied, the entry-level ID.3 Pure Essential starts at £29,360, while the ID.4 Pure Match comes in at £38,090.

If that’s not enough of an incentive, the Auto Express marketplace is also offering significant discounts across a wide range of electric cars.

Skoda is running the same £1,500 grant on its Elroq and Enyaq models, covering SE, SE L, Edition, and SportLine trims. That brings starting prices down to £30,010 for the Elroq and £38,190 for the Enyaq.

Cupra’s offer applies to the Born hatchback in V1, V2, and V3 trims, with prices starting from £34,190 after the grant.

Volkswagen, Skoda, and Cupra have confirmed that their £1,500 Grant Guarantee will be honoured on these models even if the Government’s EV grant isn’t awarded. However, you can’t claim both grants on the same vehicle.

These offers are available until 31 August and follow similar incentives recently launched by Hyundai, Alfa Romeo, Kia, and Leapmotor.
