BMW have reported its best ever sales in the month of July, it was also the first time in the company’s history that over one million vehicles had been delivered in the first seven months. Ian Robertson, Member of the Board of Management, Sales and Marketing BMW, said “the BMW Group continued on its successful course in July and we are confident that we will continue to make solid gains throughout the second half of the year. Our new vehicles have been very well-received the luxurious BMW 6 Series Gran Coupé has had an excellent start and we are confident that the new BMW 7 Series and BMW X1 which are launched this month will provide for further success.”
The BMW X1 is now on sale, customers can choose from two new models; Sport and xLine in addition to the SE and M Sport which have received an increase in standard equipment. Prices start from £24,660 for the BMW X1 sDrive18d.
The latest BMW 7 Series will go on sale next month, a revised range of highly efficient engines will be offered together with a standard eight-speed automatic gearbox and a full array of EfficientDynamics technologies. The new BMW 7 Series combines enhanced performance with significantly reduced emissions and fuel consumption. The car will be available as an ActiveHybrid in both standard and long-wheelbase guises. Prices for the new BMW 7 series start from £58,115 for the BMW 730d rising to £101,805 for the BMW 760Li M Sport.
