A road-going 6x6? Whatever next...

We remember the days when a BMW X5 appeared over the horizon like a monster truck. Just days after the German manufacturer said it’s close to revealing its X8, yes 8, an American aftermarket company has revealed its attempt at a road-going 6x6.

Maxlider Brothers, an official Ford partner and based out of Illinois, has released a render of a proposed custom that takes the highly-rated Bronco to a whole new level.

Details are limited but we do know there will be the addition of another axle and diff for a fully-powered 6×6 beast. It will be pushed along by the standard 460 horsepower Coyote engine but there will be optional upgrades available like turbo or supercharging. Other enhancements include a full lift kit, a roof rack with a light bar, fender flares, and huge BFGoodrich all-terrain tires.

The finished beast will be available in 2022 and reservations are already open, although it will set you back around £300,000. Yep, our interest ends there too.
