Hyundai have launched their new mini MPV the Hyundai ix20. Prices have not yet been confirmed but it is thought will start at approximately £12,000.
All Hyundai ix20 models come with automatic start/stop as standard to cut the engine plus eco tyres and clever electronics to make it the most fuel efficient car in its class.
The Hyundai ix20 takes some styling cues from the recently refreshed and updated Hyundai i30 hatchback with a hexagonal grille at the front. There will be a choice of 1.4 litre petrol and diesel engines. The 1.4 litre Hyundai ix20 has a top speed of 104mpg and is capable of 0-60mph in 12.9 seconds. The diesel returns 65mpg and has co2 emissions of 114g/km. There is a 1.6 litre variant available with an automatic gearbox.
The Hyundai ix20 is just 4.1 metres long, the cabin is well built with classy chrome buttons and shiny black materials. This new mini MPV should be a popular choice, it is comfortable, easy to drive with plenty of equipment and cheap running costs.
