Mechanic makes worrying discovery after a woman takes her car for a service

Everyone's had strange days at work, but we doubt many have been quite as distressing as this US mechanic, who found a tracking device installed on a woman's car, which had apparently been done by an ex-boyfriend.

The device was found after a worried woman brought her car in for a check-up at the garage, suspecting the device had been fitted.

The clip has already been viewed almost two million times with around 4,000 comments.

The find has served as a warning to others, who commented to thank the man for taking her worries seriously.

In the clip, the mechanic says: “So a customer is scared there’s a tracker in her vehicle from a crazy ex-boyfriend." He then shows the tracking device to his watching audience saying: "I didn't think anyone would actually do that, what the heck!"
