Renault will unveil its first convertible hard top roadster at the Geneva Motor Show in March, named the Renault Wind.
The Renault Wind is a two seater roadster which features a highly innovative way of opening up. The roof mechanism turns the car from coupe to roadster in just twelve seconds.
Design wise the Renault Wind has similarities to the Peugeot 207 and Honda’s CR-X. It is small in size great for everyday running around town and the compact dimensions hide a reasonably sized boot whatever position of the roof. There will only be two engines available, the 99bhp 1.2 TCE from the Twingo GT and the 131bhp 1.6 from the Twingo Renaultsport. The Renault Wind will go on sale in the UK in late summer with prices starting at £16,100.
