One supercar owner will face a hefty bill to get their wheels back after it was clamped in Manchester

A £150k McLaren supercar was clamped in Manchester City Centre for not having road tax.

The supercar would cost £520 per year to tax, or 0.34% of the cars value, yet this owner decided against paying like normal folk and could now face bills of around £80 to release the clamps and a further £2,600 for not paying road tax.  The jury is out on whether those numbers are enough to make this motorists squint a little…
