The Chevrolet Captiva has been named 2013’s Best Tow Car in its weight category, by the Caravan Club. Daniel Gregorious, National Sales and Operations Manager at Chevrolet said “this is amazing news for Captiva, Chevrolet has a long history of SUVs and Captiva is a safe and practical model for towing. We launched a ‘Safe Towing Guide’ for drivers this summer which has proved very popular, and we know many people who buy Captiva do so with towing in mind. We are really pleased the judges recognised Captiva’s capabilities in this competitive sector.”
Chevrolet's full blooded compact SUV was given a major makeover in 2011, including a fresh exterior design to give it an even more confident and dynamic presence; an all-new range of the latest powerful and fuel efficient engines; chassis modifications to improve ride and handling and an upgraded interior. The Captiva 2.2 LT was the model that stood out to the Caravan Club in this competition, and proved itself to be a true family car. The 7-seater has follow-me-home headlights, rain sensitive windscreen wipers, cruise control, and rear parking sensors all for a competitive £28,285.
The Chevrolet Captiva offers all-wheel-drive capability, versatility for up to seven passengers and an interior quality that belies its affordable price.
