New standard features such as air conditioning,16-inch dual five-spoke alloy wheels and chrome door mirror housings set the car apart from the other models in the range, and although leather trim and satellite navigation are options, at a starting price of £11495 for a tiny car, you might have expected them as standard.
The IQ (cubed) as the manufacturer would have us call it, has a 1.33 engine which does up to 58.9 mpg and only emits 113g/km of CO2.
Many car manufacturers are moving their small cars up the pricing ladder, improving the quality and fixtures on the smallest models in their range to capture the downsizing market. Small cars can save £1000’s of pounds per year in fuel, road tax and insurance costs, so it is no surprise that this trend is continuing.
Toyota retailers have a low rate finance offer across the IQ range, with 9.9% APR personal contract plan deals available up to the end of September. All cars in the Toyota range are eligible for the scrappage allowance, although not all finance deals can be used as well as the £2000 allowance.
