The Peugeot RC-Z will be available from April and the starting price is £20,450 which is more than £3000 less than the cheapest Audi TT. The top of the range Peugeot RC-Z is priced at a reasonable £25,000.
With a fantastic unique feature of a double bubble glass roof the Peugeot RC-Z has its complete own identity. The interior is of a quality as close to the Audi TT with hand stitched leather on the dashboard and a piano black finish to the centre console. Comfortable leather bucket seats complete the look.
The Peugeot RC-Z coupe will have a choice of three engines, two versions of the turbocharged 1.6 litre THP petrol unit producing 156bhp and 200bhp and a 163bhp two litre HDi turbo diesel. Six speed transmission is available on all three, the 156bhp 1.6THP also has the option of a six speed automatic. The Peugeot RC-Z petrol version is capable of 0-62mph in 7.6 seconds and fuel economy is acceptable at 43.4mpg and co2 emissions are a reasonable 159g/km. The diesel is even more impressive returning 47.7mpg and lower emissions of 139g/km.
